Kelly Sue Hunter-Swint, 56 of Franklin passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at her residence early Sunday morning, January 10, 2021.

She was born on September 25, 1964 in Franklin, Indiana to Thomas and Judy (Thomas) Fewell. She is survived by her loving husband, James “Jimmy” Mack Swint; mother, Judy Fewell; children, Mark Hunter (Crissy), Jessica Hunter, Spenser Hunter (Danielle), Justin Griggs (Hannah), Travis Swint and Tyler Swint; sisters, Julie Fewell (Pat Monroe) and Kim Dobbs (Bryan) and sixteen grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her father, Tom and granddaughter, Emmersyn Hunter.

Kelly was a graduate of Franklin Community High School.

She was employed as a waitress for twenty-eight years at the Waffle House in Franklin. She also worked as a School Crossing Guard and was a wonderful homemaker and caregiver.

Kelly loved crafting, cross stitching and watching sports. Her most love and joy was spending time with her family and friends.

Rev. Doug Brown will conduct a Celebration of Kelly’s life on Saturday, January 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Amity Baptist Church, 3597 S. U.S. Highway 31, in Franklin, Indiana 46131. Visitation will be Saturday, January 16 from 12:00 p.m. to time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the Church. The family request, due to COVID-19, that masks and facial coverings be worn. The celebration will be live streamed on Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home Facebook page at 2:00 p.m.
