BARGERSVILLE
William B. Hightower Sr., 76, of Bargersville, Indiana passed away Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021 at Franciscan St. Francis hospital Indianapolis.
He was born on Saturday, Sept. 30, 1944 to the late Byron and Imogene (Basham) Hightower in Indianapolis, Indiana. William married Carla Hercamp on April 17, 1965 and spent 55 years together of marriage before her passing on Dec. 30, 2020. William grew up in Indianapolis, but raised his family in Brown County, Indiana. William was a member of Local 18, Heat and Frost Insulators Union for over 55 years. He loved playing the lottery and enjoyed his animals.
William is survived by sons, David Hightower, and his wife Shelley, Robert Hightower, and his wife Melinda; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son, William Hightower Jr. in 2010.
Graveside service will be Friday, Jan. 22, 2021 at 2 pm at Greenlawn Cemetery, Franklin, Indiana.
