Virginia Lee “Jenny” Corbin, 90, of Bargersville, passed away January 19, 2021. She was born in Jasper, FL on April 23, 1930 to the late A.J. “Sam” Williams and Reba O’Neill (Amerson) Williams.

Jenny worked as a nurse at the hospital in her home town of Hahira, Georgia. In 1954 she married Walt Corbin who was stationed at nearby Moody AFB. After his time in the Air Force, they established their home in Indianapolis. Jenny was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.She was happiest when she could love on a child.She enjoyed crafts and hobbies, cooking, yard work, bird watching, and especially her flowers. She and Walt loved traveling, fishing in both Florida and Canada, and visiting friends and family throughout the South.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Walter L. Corbin, her oldest son, W. Randall “Randy” Corbin, her parents, and her siblings: Merle (Pete) Stalvey, A.J. “Junior” Williams, Marilyn Williams, Barbara “Bobbie” (Hank) Woolsey, Laura Williams, and Ronnie Williams.

She will be loved and missed by her daughter, Jenny Corbin Schmitz, her grandchildren, Aaron (Emily) Corbin, Lorin (Michelle) Corbin, and Alissa (Jeff) Sandoz; Alexandra (Trevor) Chapman, Autumn (Brian) Davenport, Corbin Schmitz, and Palmer Schmitz. She is survived by great-grandchildren Ava and Nolan Corbin, Avery Luster, Jackson and Maelyn Davenport, and Aiden and Addison Sandoz. She is also survived by son J. Alan Corbin, many nieces and nephews, friends, and extended family.The family would like to thank her caregivers for all their love and support.We will forever miss our Georgia Peach.
