GREENWOOD
Terrell D. Fenter, 77, of Greenwood, IN passed away on Feb. 22nd at IU/Methodist Indianapolis as a result of complications from COVID. Terry was born in Indianapolis, IN at St. Vincent Hospital on June 6, 1943 to Godfrey and Florence (Enos) Fenter.
He graduated from Southport HS in 1960 and then went into the National Guard. Terry married Judi (Oblack) Fenter on October 14, 1961 and they enjoyed 59 years of marriage. Terry and Judi had three children, Gary Fenter of Franklin, IN, Greg (Kelly) Fenter and Kristi (Dwayne) Jackson, both of Greenwood. He spent his entire career in the electrical industry in sales and sales management, retiring from Graybar Electric in 2008.
Terry enjoyed golf and was a longtime member of Valle Vista and Hillview and most recently played his golf at Smock. He loved attending family events and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his father, mother and brother. He is survived by his wife, his children and five grandchildren (and one great-grandchild on the way).
Services will be at Sts. Frances & Clare, 9100 Olive Branch Road, Greenwood, IN on Thursday, March 4th. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 with services and mass to follow. Inurnment in the Columbarium in The Resurrection Garden at Sts. Frances and Clare will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to Riley Children Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
