McCorkle, Reed earn All-State honors
Greenwood Christian’s Styles McCorkle and Izzy Reed were among 72 seniors named to the IBCA’s boys and girls Academic All-State first teams.
Earning honorable mention on the boys side were Landin Hacker and Ethan Jones of Center Grove, Noah Detling and Isaac Roberts of Edinburgh, Damon Dickey and Max Lancer of Franklin, Quinten Gillespie and Logan Willoughby of Whiteland, Christian Wiseman of Indian Creek and Anthony Donahue of Roncalli.
Local girls earning honorable mention included Abby Ferguson, Natosha Root, Lauren Sandrock and Megan Thompson of Franklin, Center Grove’s Aili Lothamer and Emily McWilliams, Kurstin Thompson and Luci Woodrum of Indian Creek and Savvanah Frye of GCA.
