INDIANAPOLIS
Phyllis J. Hilligoss, age 94, of Indianapolis, passed away at her home in the independent living apartments at Crestwood Village South.
Phyllis was born on April 25, 1926 in Indianapolis, IN to Chester and Marguerite Ogle. She was a hair stylist for over 30 years and owned her own salon here in the Indianapolis area.
Survivors include her daughters, Judith Westerfield of Indianapolis and Pamela S. Jackson (Greg Hemmingsen) of Greenwood; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; son, Michael Hilligoss; daughter, Rebecca Fountain; and two brothers, Joe Ogle and Robert Ogle.
A memorial service for Phyllis Hilligoss will be held on her 95th birthday, Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 4:00PM at Singleton and Herr Mortuary, 7602 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. The family will receive guests at the funeral home from 3:00PM until the time of service.
