Suzette (Doty) Scheckles 71 of Bargersville, IN passed away Sunday June 6, 2021 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN.
She was born April 25, 1950 in Franklin, IN to Royce Wendell Doty and Florence Irene (Speas) Doty. She married Michael D. Scheckles, he survives.
She was a 1968 graduate of Center Grove High School.
She had been a secretary for the Johnson County Prosecutors Office for 15 years. She previously had work for Franklin Plastics.
She love fishing with her family, spending time in Nashville, Brown County and attend drag racing events.
Survivors include her husband Michael D. Scheckles of Bargersville, IN, two sons Brian D. Scheckles (Kim) of Greenwood, IN and Randy D. Scheckles (Brittany) of Franklin, IN, three grandchildren Braeden Scheckles, Hunter Scheckles and Randilyn Scheckles, two sisters Judy Herald of Bargersville, IN and Christie Seagraves of Trafalgar, IN, mother in law Almedia (Kincaid) Scheckles of Bargersville, IN, two nieces and four nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Cindy Krebbs on January 9, 1999.
A celebration of life service will be conduct on Saturday June 19, 2021 at 1PM at the Bargersville Senior Citizens Center 14 West Old South Street in Bargersville, IN.
