Jason Michael Mueller

BARGERSVILLE

Jason Michael Mueller, 45, loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and educator, entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 22, 2021 surrounded by his family at home.

Jason was born November 17, 1975, in Indianapolis to John Michael Mueller and Patricia JoAnn Mueller. He married Hannah Handlon on July 14, 2012, beachside in sunny Florida.

Mueller graduated from Center Grove High School in 1994, playing both football and baseball for the Trojans. He earned his BS in Elementary Education from Indiana University in 2005. Additionally, he received his Master’s in Athletic Administration from Ohio University in 2010. For the past 23 years, he worked for the Center Grove Community School Corporation, teaching fifth grade for 13 years and elementary physical education for 3 years. Over the years, he coached several CG athletic teams, including CGHS baseball and CGBFL. He was an active community member, serving on numerous boards and organizations: CG Bantam Football League, CG Alumni & Friends, and the Center Grove Athletic Booster Club. At Sugar Grove, he sponsored Spell Bowl, Student Council, and the Intramural program. But, he is most known for that recognizable voice: serving as the public address announcer for a variety of sports and events. He IS the Voice of the Trojans.

Jason’s greatest joy in life was spending time with family. Not only did he enjoy time with his family, but he also loved his friends, students, co-workers, and community.

Jason leaves behind many loved ones to honor his memory. Devoted wife, Hannah; his children, two loving sons, James Michael Mueller and Jacob Patton Mueller, as well as Vanessa Renee Wahl and Justin Walker Wahl; his parents, Mike and JoAnn Mueller; sister, Tammy Rumble and her children, Allie, Amanda, and Antonia; brother, Ryan Mueller (Cindy) and children Jessica, Lindsey, Rylee, and Zach; Hannah’s parents, Garth and Barbara Handlon; many grandnieces and nephews, as well as co-workers and the community of Center Grove.

Arrangements have been entrusted to G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN. A celebration of life will be held in the near future.
