Jean Marie Price, 82, of Greenwood, IN passed away on July 25, 2021, at Bickford of Greenwood. Jean was born on July 6, 1939, in Ripley County, IN to Everett and Mina Mildred (Westrick) Gross. Jean attended and graduated from Trimble County High School in Bedford, KY. She worked as an expediter for Herff Jones for several years. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Greenwood, the Jewelry Workers Union, and the Guild Club. She loved gardening and slow dancing. Most importantly, she loved her family and loved spending time with them.
Jean will be dearly missed by her children, Julie Anna Eakins-Bell and Dennis Charles (Cindy) Price; her significant other, Harold “Pete” Noggle; her grandchildren, Nolan Eakins, Charles Eakins, and Robert Dennis Price; her brother, Robert Gross; her sister, Kay Parish; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Robert Dean Price; and her brothers, Everett Gross and Dennis Gross.
The visitation will be from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory- Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St., Greenwood, IN 46142. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory- Greenwood Chapel. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.
