GREENWOOD
James E. Everett, aged 76, a veteran of the Vietnam War and resident of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away at home on August 13, 2022.
Born on July 31, 1946 in Russell, Kansas, Jim graduated from Hiawatha High School in 1964. He served as a Staff sergeant in the U.S. Army. After moving to Indiana, Jim went to work for Ray Skillman Auto Group, where he was known as a wise and honorable mentor for his coworkers, employees, and customers alike.
Jim is survived by his wife, Debbie Everett; brother, Clifford Everett; children, Kristin Sutton, David and Stephanie Everett, James Everett and Angel Crawford, and Patrick and Jasmine Kelley; and granddaughters, Olivia and Lily Sutton.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, August 19 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service &Crematory Greenwood Chapel, 481 W Main St., Greenwood, IN 46142 with visitation from 4 to 6 PM and service to begin at 6 PM.
