NWS to hold storm spotter talk Thursday

The National Weather Service is holding a public storm spotter training Thursday in Franklin.

The training will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Training Center, 1061 Hospital Road, Franklin.

The training typically lasts about two hours and is open to anyone who wants to learn more about cloud formations and spotting severe weather.

The training is free and doesn’t require pre-registration.
