Shepherd misses cut in pro event
Playing in a pro tournament for the first time since shedding her amateur status, Center Grove and Duke graduate Erica Shepherd missed the cut at the Epson Tour’s Firekeepers Casino Hotel Championship in Battle Creek, Michigan. Shepherd shot a first-round 73 on Friday and followed with a 3-over-par 75 on Saturday to finish the second round in a tie for 81st place, two strokes shy of the cut line.
