GREENWOOD
James L. Cunningham passed away on June 5, 2023. He was a resident of Greenwood, Indiana.
He was born on February 18, 1944 to Bascom and Juanita Cunningham in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Jim graduated from Howe High School and served in the U.S. Army Reserve.
He married Kathy L. (Kockersberger) on December 15, 1979. She preceded him in death in 2009. He was also preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Cunningham.
Jim retired from Eli Lilly after thirty years of service and later was a consultant with Barnard Associates. He enjoyed tennis and playing golf with his many friends from Eli Lilly.
He is survived by son, Mike Cunningham of Indianapolis.
No services are planned at this time. Memorial contributions in Jim’s memory may be made to Riley Hospital for Children. Arrangements have been entrusted to Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin.
