Kroger donation supports tornado recovery

Kroger offered a special “thank you” to the American Red Cross in Indiana. The grocer donated $5,000 to support the organization’s service to victims of last weekend’s tornado in White River Township.

“We offer this contribution to acknowledge Red Cross emergency services, and to acknowledge their commitment to Hoosiers across central Indiana,” said Kroger spokesperson Eric Halvorson. “We worked together on fundraising after the spring tornado and I know everyone in the community is grateful for Red Cross assistance now. It is reassuring to know you’re there when the need arises.”
