The Johnson County 4-H and Agriculture Fair continues today in Franklin.
Here is a look at some of Thursday’s highlights. The Midway opens at 5 p.m.:
4-H & FFA Judging Contest (all species)
When: 11 a.m. today
Where: Indoor Arena (south end with Franklin FFA)
Axe Throwing
When: 1 p.m. today
Where: Northeast corner of Herring Hall
Moonlight Madness — Poor Jack Amusements
When: 6-11 p.m. today
Where: Midway
Cost: $30 for an Unlimited Ride Bracelet (weather permitting)
Kids Straw Scramble
When: 7 p.m. today
Where: Behind the Farm Bureau building
Cost: Free entry
Registration: Kids ages 3-10, with 4 classes. Limited to the first 30 kids entered in each class.
Full Throttle Monster Truck Show
When: 7 p.m. today
Where: Grandstands
Cost: $15 for adults, $10 for children
