Nancy Jo Harding, Franklin, IN, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023. She was 84 years old. Nancy was born to her parents Paul and Mary Brann. She graduated from Whiteland High School , class of 1957. Nancy married her husband, Robert, on May 7, 1960 and together they shared 30 years of marriage until Robert passed away on October 2, 1990.
Nancy worked as a bank manager for a variety of banks and retired after over 20 years of service. Nancy was a lifelong member of Honey Creek Church for over 60 years; she served as the church treasurer for 20 years and played organ for 40 years. Nancy was part of the volunteer group, Ladies Aid, who served both the community and the church in a variety of ways. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, especially for her family and friends. She lived a family centered life and loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nancy’s strong willed and loving nature will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind.
Nancy is survived by her children Rich (Dawn) Harding and Rob Harding; her grandchildren, Kristina (Brett) McIninch, Christian (Amanda) Harding, Devon (Matt) Chappelow, and Nathaniel Harding; her great grandchildren, Harper McIninch and Hudson Harding; her sister, Donna Brann (Tom) Hicks; her several nieces and nephews.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Harding; her brother, Jerry Brann.
A visitation for Nancy will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 7:00 pm. Burial will follow on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 10:00 am at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
