Peterman Road reopened to traffic Wednesday after being closed for a bridge project since mid-March.
The Johnson County Highway Department closed the section of Peterman Road between Fairview Road and County Line Road to replace the bridge over Pleasant Run Creek.
The replacement is now complete, but there are some tasks relating to final punch list items that will be ongoing. Drivers should still use caution in the area as workers will periodically be at the site, highway officials said.
Construction warning signs will remain up until the final inspection of the bridge is complete, highway officials said.
