FRANKLIN
Donald Boger, born April 20th 1949, passed away on August 31, 2023.
Don was born to Marjorie and Dale Boger, both proceeded him in death as well as his sister, Lois Kraas.
Don graduated from Southport High School in 1967 going on to be a Tool and Die Maker at several different companies over the years.
Don was an avid horse lover, both raising and barrel racing Quarterhorses over his lifetime. Don was kind, loving and very feisty at times.
Although Don had no children ofhis own,he was very close with his niece Leanne and her family, Leanne’s children Blaine and Adrienne were his life, he loved them with his entire being andthey loved
him.
Survivors included, a brother, Fred (Bekki) Boger, a niece Leanne (Jeff) Watkins, a nephew Jacob (Lauren) Boger, a niece Chantel (Eric) Lang, a niece Britney (Josh Floyd) Boger, and four (4) great nieces and nephews, Blaine Watkins, Adrienne Watkins, Ethan Lang and Avah Lang.
A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Arrangements have been entrusted to G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens At Olive Branch.
Don will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, IN.
