Franklin

Hit and Run

N. Morton St. and Earlywood Drive: A woman reported at 3:25 p.m. Saturday that white vehicle and struck her vehicle while she was waiting for an ambulance to pass. A witness followed the white vehicle, officers were able to stop the vehicle and a man admitted to not having a driver’s licence, he was issued summonses for leaving the scene of an accident and operating without a license.

Theft

100 block of Maple Lane: A man reported at 5:31 p.m. Friday that his vehicle’s battery had been taken out of his vehicle.

Greenwood

Criminal Mischief

275 W. Worthsville Road, Summerfield Park: Reported at 1:48 p.m. Monday that vandalism has occurred.

Narcotics

S. State Road 135 and W. Demaree Road: Reported at 3:09 a.m. Monday that as a result of a traffic stop, drug paraphernalia was seized and occupants were issued citations.

Thefts

1800 block of Prairie Sky Lane: Reported at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday that a theft had occurred.

1001 N. State Road 135, Dick’s Sporting Goods: Reported at 6:42 p.m. Monday that a man was arrested for theft with prior conviction, possession of narcotic drug and several other charges.

200 block of Wiley St.: Reported at 12:20 p.m. Monday that a theft had occurred.

1700 block of Southwood St.: Reported at 11:42 a.m. Monday that a theft had occurred.

300 Marlin Drive, Menards: Reported at 11:14 a.m. Monday that a theft had occurred.

800 block of Arroyo Road: Reported at 2:19 a.m. Monday that a theft had occurred.

1251 U.S. 31 N., JC Penney: Loss prevention employee reported at 4:35 p.m. Sunday a woman and man stole a watch and hat valued at $80 and was last seen walking across U.S. 31.

1000 block of Sherman Drive: Reported at 9:19 p.m. Saturday that a theft had occurred.

300 S. State Road 135, Aldi: Reported at 3:40 p.m. Saturday that a theft had occurred.

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 12:17 p.m. Saturday that a woman was arrested on a summons for theft and a juvenile was arrested and transported to the juvenile detention center.

Criminal Mischief

5600 block of Wakefield Road, Greenwood: A man reported at 4:49 p.m. Monday that someone had scratched his vehicle the entire length of the passenger side using a key or similar item.

2600 block of S. Old State Road 37, Greenwood: A man reported at 8:03 a.m. Monday that the door to a trailer had been kicked in.

Hit and Run

Marketplace Drive and W. Fairview Road, Greenwood: Reported at 2:07 p.m. Saturday that two people had their vehicles struck by another vehicle, that vehicle did not stop and fled the area.

Theft

500 block of Vanhoy Drive, Greenwood: A woman reported at 2:09 p.m. Friday that she hired twin brothers off of Facebook to do some work inside her residence, once they arrived she gave them $700 cash for their services. The brothers then said they were going to go get some supplies and they never came back.

Marco A. Davis, 26, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of invasion of privacy; held on $2,400 bond.

Jailyn Taylor Dejarnette, 29, Indianapolis; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; held on $350 bond.

Grover Lamar Hawn Jr., 42, Needham; arrested on charges of driving while suspended with prior suspension and bond revocation; held without bond.

Christian Nichole Hoffman, 34, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of invasion of privacy; held on $2,000 bond.

Jaskarn Singh Jandu, 21, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of unlawful carrying of a handgun; released on $500 bond.

Stephen Robert McDonald, 28, Beech Grove; arrested on a charge of contempt; released on $2,000 bond.

Coy Anthony Miller, 24, Edinburgh; arrested on a charge of dealing methamphetamine; held on $2,000 bond.

Andrew Dale Naugle, 40, Franklin; arrested on a charge of domestic battery knowing in the presence of a child; held on $1,000 bond.

Kenneth Richard Payton, 37, Greenwood; arrested on charges of possession of cocaine or narcotic drug, possession of methamphetamine and possession of hypodermic syringe or needle; held on $3,600 bond.

Jose Ricardo Ramirez Santos, 37, Shelbyville; arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle without ever obtaining a license; released on $250 bond.

Brandon Rodriguez, 19, Indianapolis; arrested on charges of interfering with public safety, disorderly conduct and refusal to identify self while stopped for infraction; bond information unavailable.
