Anderson University freshman golfer Hannah Emenhiser, an Indian Creek graduate, tied for 18th place individually, carding the Ravens’ lowest 36-hole score (83-81—164) in nine years while competing in the Hanover College Fall Classic at Hidden Creek.

Sophomore Braxton Christie carded the Grizzlies’ third-lowest score with a three-round total of 232, tying him for 71st individually, as Franklin College men’s golf placed 10th as a team in the Players Club Invitational at Taylor.
Whiteland
Sophomore outside hitter Sarah Scott finished with a total of 47 kills, including 15 in a four-set victory over Roosevelt, as Taylor volleyball won three of four matches at its AMF Memorial Tournament. She had 16 kills and six digs in a four-set loss to visiting Spring Arbor.
Senior Zach Ricketts tied for 81st with a three-round score of 238 as Franklin College men’s golf finished 10th in the Players Club Invitational at Taylor.
Center Grove
Junior golfer Brandon Heffner helped Marian capture the Players Club Invitational at Taylor, his total of 206 establishing a new program record for three rounds of play and securing medalist honors. Teammate Luke Beetz finished 19th with a total of 222.
St. Leo junior Alex Heck helped lead his team to a second-place effort at the Division II National Preview, his three-round score of 217 tying him for the No. 15 spot individually.
University of Indianapolis sophomore Drew Rowen helped the Greyhounds men’s golf squad finish 1oth of 15 teams in the Folds of Honor Challenge at the Meadows, shooting a two-round score of 152 to tie for 45th individually.
Indiana quarterback Tayven Jackson completed 18 of 21 passes for 236 yards and rushed for a touchdown in a 41-7 defeat of visiting Indiana State. Linebacker Matt Hohlt had a tackle for the Hoosiers. ISU junior defensive lineman Lucas Hunter finished with four tackles.
Junior running back Carson Steele carried the ball 12 times for 84 yards and a touchdown as UCLA won at San Diego State, 35-10.
Franklin College freshman receiver Owen Wright had two receptions for 22 yards in a 45-30 home loss to Aurora.
Indiana Wesleyan freshman punter Nolan Foley made seven punts in a 24-22 win over visiting Valparaiso, placing two of his attempts inside the opponent’s 20-yard line.
Sophomore defensive specialist Ashley Eck finished with 55 digs, 14 assists and seven aces as Eckerd College volleyball ran its record to 7-0 on the season with four wins at the Emmanuel Tournament.
Junior Grace Boggess helped Butler volleyball to two wins in three matches at the Morehead State Comfort Inn-vitational, finishing with totals of 21 kills and six digs.
Ball State volleyball went 0-3 in a tournament at Dayton, with outside hitter Katie Egenolf providing a total of 12 kills and 19 digs.
Senior setter Madison Hammill had 25 assists and 14 digs for Wisconsin in a four-set victory at Marquette.
Senior goalkeeper Ian Rowe made eight saves for Franklin College men’s soccer in a 2-0 loss at Illinois Tech. He added eight more in a 2-2 tie against visiting Denison.
Trey Thixton won matches at No. 1 doubles and No. 5 singles as Indiana Wesleyan men’s tennis scored a 5-3 victory over Bethel.

Butler men’s golfer Damon Dickey tied for 27th individually with a three-round score of 223 in the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational at Ball State.
Senior tight end Drew Byerly helped Marian football score a 28-21 home win against St. Xavier, making two catches for 25 yards and carrying the ball five times for seven yards and a touchdown.
Senior Eli Cochrane finished 16th individually, followed by teammate Wyatt McCullough in 20th, as Franklin College men’s cross country placed second of seven teams at the Hanover Invitational.
Sophomore Ava Ray tied for 13th with a three-round score of 225 as the UIndy women’s golf team placed sixth of 16 teams at its own UIndy Invitational.
IUPUI women’s volleyball dropped each of the three matches it played in a tourney at South Dakota, though Jaguars’ senior setter Brooke Phillips did have 21 digs, three assists and three service aces.
Sophomore Cami Kelsay played in the team’s first two matches, finishing with two and five kills, as Jacksonville volleyball went 0-3 at Georgia’s Bulldog Classic.

Franklin College senior Mallory Watson finished in 29th for the women’s cross country team at the Hanover Invitational, placing fourth of six teams.
Sophomore defensive specialist Melia Gorrell finished with a total of 23 digs over three matches for Wheeling as it took part in the Bash at the Beach volleyball tournament.
Connecticut volleyball picked up home wins against Sacred Heart and Rhode Island, with freshman outside hitter Mya Ayro chipping in three and six kills, respectively.
Manchester senior outside hitter Joy Maze had 20 kills, 10 digs and two aces, but it wasn’t enough as the Spartans lost to Huntington in four sets. The team scored a 3-0 sweep at Kalamazoo, with Maze providing 14 kills and eight digs.
Franklin College junior defensive back Michael Loper made two tackles and was credited with breaking up a pass in a 45-30 loss to Aurora.
Indiana Wesleyan junior tennis player Ethan Gray lost his No. 3 doubles match but prevailed at No. 6 singles in a 5-3 triumph over Bethel.
The Franklin College women’s tennis squad lost to Webster, 8-1, the lone point coming from Maecee Terhune at No. 2 singles, 6-3, 6-4.

Senior outside hitter Grace Hegwood (Greenwood) was one of two UIndy players making the all-tournament team after producing 45 kills and 49 digs as the Greyhounds won three of four matches.
