Volunteers from Clark-Pleasant Community School Corporation carry a piece of a house out of a yard following the March 31 tornado in the Park Forest neighborhood of Whiteland.
A fellowship event for tornado survivors is set for Saturday.
The Salvation Army along with the Town of Whiteland, Adult & Child Health, HeavenEarth Church, and the Johnson County Long Term Recovery Group will be hosting an event for people impacted by the March 31 tornado.
The open house is Saturday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at HeavenEarth Church, 309 E. Main St., Whiteland.
Tornado survivors are invited for a night of fellowship and support. There will be activities for kids, so parents can exchange stories and meet other survivors.
Information about community resources will be available and ministers and mental health providers will be in attendance to help survivors.
