Hit and Run

N. Main St. and E. Jefferson St.: A man reported at 7:42 p.m. Thursday that his vehicle was hit another vehicle that left the scene, a woman was later arrested for leaving the scene of an accident.

Fraud

905 W. County Line Road, Check Smart: A manager reported at 11:37 a.m. Thursday that a man came into the business and cashed a fraudulent check for over $2,300.

Hit and Run

N. State Road 135 and W. County Line Road: Reported at 2:06 p.m. Thursday that a hit and run had occurred.

Stalking

900 block of Evening Drive: Reported at 1:42 p.m. that stalking had occurred.

Thefts

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 5:03 p.m. Thursday that a man was issued a summons for theft.

1251 U.S. 31 N., Von Maur: Reported at 3:51 p.m. Thursday that someone was issued a summons for theft.

2500 block of Belmont Drive: Reported at 12:50 p.m. Thursday the theft of a firearm from a vehicle had occurred.

1251 U.S. 31 N., Von Maur: Reported at 11:27 a.m. Thursday that a woman was arrested and released on a summons for theft.

Donald W. Freeman Jr., 47, Whiteland; arrested on charges of possession of stolen property and possession of methamphetamine; held on $2,400 bond.

Chanel Virgina Hill, 42, Franklin; arrested on a charge of leaving the scene of a property damage crash; released on $250 bond.

Jonah Daniel Jethrow, 23, Greenwood; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; held without bond.

Joseph L. Northcutt, 47, Nineveh; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; released on $500 bond.

Michael Andrew Pastorius II, 30, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of violation of community corrections; held without bond.

James Gabriel Pietrzak, 32, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with prior suspension; released on $250 bond.

Jeffery Leon Tewell Jr., 41, Centerpoint; arrested on a charge of contempt; held on $1,000 bond.

Christopher Wilson, 49, Indianapolis; arrested on two Johnson County warrants; held on $295.50 bond.

The following people were recently arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and booked into the Johnson County jail:

James Alan McDonald, 26, Franklin; also arrested on a charge of reckless driving; held on $2,000 bond.

Sukhchain Singh Sidhu, 28, Indianapolis; released on $250 bond.
