82, of Greenwood passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023, surrounded by her children. Kay was born on January 5, 1941, in Indianapolis to Ted &Helen (Brooks) Munn. Kay passionately loved her family, friends, and especially her beloved pets Buddy, BeeBee, and CC. Kay graced our lives with her warmth, generosity, and infectious laughter.

Kay was a beacon of kindness and selflessness, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. She would gladly give you the shirt off her back, embodying the spirit of compassion and caring for others. Her radiant smile was a constant source of joy to all who knew her, and her love for humor brightened even the darkest of days.

A true people person, Kay never met a stranger. She had a unique ability to make friends wherever she went, effortlessly forming connections that lasted a lifetime. Her quick wit and natural sense of humor ensured that there was never a dull moment in her presence, and her jokes and laughter were a true gift to all who knew her.

One of Kay’s great passions was her love for Elvis Presley, whose music brought her immeasurable joy throughout her life. She had an infectious enthusiasm for “The King” that she shared with friends and family, making every Elvis tune a reason to dance and sing along.

In addition to her magnetic personality, Kay was an amazing cook, delighting all fortunate enough to savor her culinary creations. Her kitchen was a place of love and creativity, where she crafted dishes that filled our hearts as well as our stomachs.

While Kay has left us physically, her spirit lives on in the cherished memories we hold dear. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and genuine kindness that will continue to inspire us all. She will be deeply missed by her family and her many friends.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Shirley Munn, David Munn, and son Michael Jospeh Schrader.

Kay is survived by her Children; Tom Schrader, Tim (Debbie) Schrader, Susie (David) Bibles, Michelle (Bobbie) Culberson, Brother Ronald Munn, Grandchildren; TJ Schrader, Jonathan (Jillie) Schrader, Jacob (Maddie) Schrader, Michael Anthony Schrader, Britni Bibles, Bobbie Rae Culberson, Tommie Culberson, Great Grand Children; Isiah Schrader, Channing Schrader, One on the way Schrader, Gabriella Linares.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to Bean Blossom Animal Clinic, 4915 N State Rd 135, Nashville, IN 47448 or the Brown County Humane Society, 128 IN-135, Nashville, IN 47448.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Singleton &St. Pierre, 7602 Madison Ave. from 4 pm to 6 pm. A funeral will immediately follow the visitation.
