Franklin

Narcotics

2801 N. Morton St., police department: A officer reported at 12:19 p.m. Monday that he made contact with a vehicle and three occupants parked in the police department parking lot, as he was speaking to the occupants he could smell the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. After a search of the vehicle, paraphernalia and narcotics were located in the vehicle and the driver was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and released from the scene.

Thefts

600 block of Yandes St.: A man reported at 7:53 p.m. Monday that someone had stolen his moped.

750 E. State Road 44, Franklin School Transportation: A woman reported at 10:20 a.m. Monday that she had a package delivered and when she went to pick up her package it was no longer there.

Greenwood

Fraud

882 S. State Road 135, Walmart: Reported at 8:21 p.m. Tuesday that a fraud had occurred.

Forgery/Counterfeiting

1000 N. Madison Ave., Dollar General: Reported at 5:31 p.m. Tuesday that counterfeiting had occurred.

Hit and Run

E. Pearl St. and S. McKinley St.: A man reported at 8:54 a.m. Tuesday that a white passenger vehicle ran the stop sign and struck the rear passenger door of his vehicle and then fled the area.

Narcotics

1291 N. Madison Ave., Speedway: Reported at 12:26 a.m. Wednesday that a man was issued a summons for the possession of paraphernalia.

Personal-injury accident

6:19 a.m. Saturday – S. Graham Road and Allen Road. Holly Goodwin-Hatfield, 30, Indianapolis. Goodwin-Hatfield reported having pain and injury to her chest.

1:03 p.m. Tuesday – E. Main St. and S. Washington St.

5:18 p.m. Monday – Library Park Drive and Library Blvd.

2:57 p.m. Monday – W. Smith Valley Road and Library Park Blvd.

1:19 p.m. Monday – Averitt Road and Apryl Drive

2:03 p.m. Sunday – W. Smith Valley Road and Averitt Road

Thefts

500 block of W. Smith Valley Road: Reported at 5:13 a.m. Wednesday that a theft had occurred.

200 block of Meadow Drive: Reported at 6:49 p.m. Tuesday the theft of a license plate had occurred.

Personal-injury accident

3:51 p.m. Tuesday – 1700 block of S. Franklin Road, Greenwood. Stephanie Dodd, 49, Franklin. Dodd reported having pain and injury to her chest.

Property-damage accident

11:30 p.m. Tuesday – U.S. 31 N., Franklin

9:09 p.m. Tuesday – S. County Road 300 W., Trafalgar

6 a.m. Tuesday – State Road 135 and State Road 44, Franklin

Theft

400 block of Orkney Court, Greenwood: Reported at 3:06 p.m. Tuesday that a theft had occurred.

Brandon Arkel Davis, 29, Columbus; arrested on charges of domestic battery with moderate bodily injury, confinement, intimidation with a deadly weapon, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia and possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon; held without bond.

Kevin Theodore Israel, 39, Anderson; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; held on $545 bond.

Raheem Rashad Orozco, 30, Beech Grove; arrested on two Johnson County warrants; held on $1,050 bond.

Tony E. Powers, 41, Shelbyville; arrested on two Johnson County warrants; held without bond.

Ivan Gabriel Rosales Garcia, 22, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of domestic battery knowing on a child less than 16 years old; held on $1,200 bond.

Roger Kevin Silver, 68, Greenwood; arrested on charges of weapon of violence-pointing a firearm and domestic battery; held without bond.

Austin W. Watson, 25, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of probation violation; released on $500 bond.
