FRANKLIN
Mr. Glen R. Burch, of Franklin, IN, passed away peacefully in the early hours of October 26, 2023, at Community South Hospital due to a long life of 84 years. Mr. Burch was born to Elvira Burch, of Montana, and Gordon Burch, of Texas on January 8, 1939.
Glen served his country in the Army of the United States of America from July 1962-64 and the Army Reserves until July 1968. He went on to support his wife, Mary V. Burch (deceased 2014) and family as a sheet metal worker until the day he retired, whereupon the couple moved to Franklin, IN.
Beloved Mr. Burch is survived by daughter Jeanette Tobias, grandson Joseph, granddaughter Alexandra, and a plethora of multi generation family and extended family members whom he loved very much and who loved him very much in return. Having touched many lives, always for the good, he will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 2:00pm at Jessen Funeral Home &Simple Cremation ~ Whiteland Chapel with visitation from 12:00pm until the service hour. Glen will be laid to rest with military honors at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana.
