The Johnson County Board of Commissioners is seeking interested individuals to serve on the following Boards with terms beginning Jan. 1.

- Alcohol Beverage Commission board (one board member, one-year term) Qualified applicants must be a resident of Johnson County for at least five years immediately preceding the appointment and not convicted of a felony.
- Board of Zoning Appeals (three board members, four-year term) Qualified applicants must be a Johnson County resident and one of the board positions must be a member of the Johnson County Plan Commission.
- Convention, Visitor and Tourism board (three board members, two-year term) Qualified applicants must be a Johnson County resident or an owner or executive level employee of a convention, visitor, or tourism business that is located in Johnson County.
- Drainage board (two board members, three-year term) Qualified applicants must be resident freeholders of Johnson County; and knowledgeable in drainage matters.
- Plan Commission (two board members, four-year term) Qualified applicants must list their political party; and be a resident of an unincorporated area of Johnson County or a resident of Johnson County who is also an owner of real property located in whole or in part in an unincorporated area of Johnson County.
- Property Tax Assessment Board of Appeals (two board members, one-year term) Qualified applicants must list political party, be knowledgeable in the valuation of property and, if possible, be a certified level two or level three assessor-appraiser.
- Bargersville Fire Protection District board – Town of Bargersville (one board member, four-year term) Qualified applicants must have knowledge and experience in matters pertaining to fire protection and related activities in the district and must reside within Bargersville Fire Protection District and Town of Bargersville.
- Bargersville Fire Protection District board – At-large (one board member, four-year term) Qualified applicants must have knowledge and experience in matters pertaining to fire protection and related activities in the district and must reside within Bargersville Fire Protection District.
- Hensley Fire Protection District board – Union Township (one board member, four-year term) Qualified applicants must have knowledge and experience in matters pertaining to fire protection and related activities in the district and must reside within Hensley Fire Protection District and Union Township.
- Needham Fire Protection District board – Needham Township (one board member, four-year term) Qualified applicants must have knowledge and experience in matters pertaining to fire protection and related activities in the district and must reside within Needham Fire Protection District and Needham Township.
- Nineveh Fire Protection District board – At-large (one board member, four-year term) Qualified applicants must have knowledge and experience in matters pertaining to fire protection and related activities in the district and must reside within Nineveh Fire Protection District.
- White River Fire Protection District board – White River Township (one board member, four-year term) Qualified applicants must have knowledge and experience in matters pertaining to fire protection and related activities in the district and must reside within White River Fire Protection District and White River Township.
