Attempt Crime

3060 N. Morton St., Clean and Go Car wash: Someone reported at 10:43 a.m. Wednesday that a man had attempted to break into two separate safes on the property but was unsuccessful.

Criminal Mischief

2122 Holiday Lane, Baymont Inn: Reported at 10:57 a.m. Wednesday that criminal mischief had occurred.

Forgery/Counterfeiting

1139 N. Morton St., McDonald’s: A manager reported at 8:59 p.m. Wednesday that a man came through the drive thru and attempted to pay for his order with a counterfeit $100 bill.

Identity Theft

1000 block of W. Jefferson St.: A man reported at 3 p.m. Wednesday that he received multiple pieces of mail regarding benefits from the state and believes someone else is attempting to get benefits using his sons name.

Theft

2125 N. Morton St., Walmart: Loss prevention employee reported at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday that a woman had bagged multiple grocery items every time she scanned a single item and then tried to leave the store, she was taken to the loss prevention office, once police arrived they issued her a summons for theft and she was trespassed from the store.

900 block of Coventry Court: Reported at 6:43 a.m. Thursday that criminal mischief had occurred.

900 block of Kings Mill Road: Reported at 6:39 a.m. Thursday that criminal mischief had occurred.

800 block of Kings Mill Road: Reported at 5:26 a.m. Thursday that criminal mischief had occurred.

Fraud

562 Fry Road, Best Buy: Reported at 5:58 p.m. Wednesday that a credit card fraud had occurred at Best Buy and Walmart located at 1133 N. Emerson Ave.

Theft

600 block of Wooddale Terrace: Reported at 7:29 a.m. Thursday that a theft had occurred.

Johnson County

Theft

3816 Hospital Road, Camp Atterbury, Edinburgh: A woman reported at 1:12 p.m. Wednesday that someone broke into her locked locker, ransacked it and stole a $20 bill from a clear wallet inside the locker.

Matthew A. Golden, 37, Franklin; arrested on a charge of probation violation; held without bond.

Howard Wayne Begley Jr., 48, Nashville; arrested on a charge of probation violation; held on $2,000 bond.

Ashley Marie Wiley, 34, Spencer; arrested on a charge of probation violation; held without bond.

Tom Kauppila, 52, Brooklyn, New York; arrested on a charge of unlawful sale or possession of a transaction manipulation device; held on $2,400 bond.

Aleksandras Denisovas, 48, Las Vegas, Nevada; arrested on a charge of unlawful sale or possession of a transaction manipulation device; held on $2,400 bond.

Pedro Guillermo Tiscareno, 44, Whiteland; arrested on charges of domestic battery knowing in the presence of a child less than 16 years old and domestic battery-adult against family or member less than 14 years old; held on $2,400 bond.

Keyaira L. Johnson, 31, Indianapolis; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; released on $300 bond.

Kimberly S. Lucas, 52, Franklin; arrested on charges of driving while suspended with prior suspension and false informing/reporting; held on $2,000 bond.
