2801 N. Morton St., police department: A woman reported at 2:58 p.m. Thursday that she applied for a loan over the phone and found out it was all a scam.

Residential Entry

1100 block of Cobra Drive: A man reported at 3:54 p.m. Sunday that his front door was wide open and items in his bedroom were messed with.

Thefts

1000 block of Northcraft Court: Reported at 8 p.m. Thursday that a theft involving a juvenile had occurred.

2125 N. Morton St., Walmart: A asset protection employee reported at 11:11 a.m. Saturday that a woman had not scanned several items and tried to leave the store, she was issued a summons for theft and trespassed from the store.

420 N. Morton St., Horizon Bank: A man reported at 5:17 p.m. Friday that he believes a woman he knows used one of his blank checks to purchase services at a veterinary hospital without his permission.

Battery

1000 block of Scarborough Lane: Reported at 3:09 a.m. Saturday that a battery with injury had occurred.

Criminal Mischief

1251 U.S. 31 N., Greenwood Park Mall: Reported at 4:31 a.m. Sunday that criminal mischief had occurred.

Thefts

700 Loews Blvd.: Reported at 10:33 p.m. Saturday that a theft had occurred.

1251 U.S. 31 N., Von Maur: Reported at 5:52 p.m. Saturday that shoplifting had occurred.

1251 U.S. 31 N., JC Penney: Reported at 2:08 p.m. Saturday that shoplifting had occurred.

300 Marlin Drive, Menards: Reported at 11:26 a.m. Saturday that a theft had occurred.

Hit and Run

800 block of E. County Road 775 S., Nineveh: A man reported at 6:35 p.m. Friday that a vehicle traveling west bound struck his driver side mirror, knocking the mirror out of the housing and never stopped.

Identity Theft

4700 block of N. County Road 75 W., Franklin: A woman reported at 1:17 p.m. Friday that someone used her personal information and took out a loan in her name.

Narcotics

W. Stones Crossing Road and Ashton Lane, Greenwood: Reported at 12:43 a.m. Saturday that during a traffic stop for an expired temporary plate, a officer detected the smell of marijuana and after a search of the vehicle a baggy of marijuana was found. The driver also did not have a valid driver license or proof of insurance, she was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and a ticket.

Theft

200 block of W. State Road 44, Franklin: Reported at 8:54 a.m. Thursday that a theft had occurred.
