Braves hammer Patriots
Class 3A No. 3 Indian Creek had no trouble with Owen Valley on Friday, building a 21-point halftime lead and coasting to a 58-23 home win. Lauren Foster had 15 points and seven assists for the Braves (6-2, 1-0 WIC), while Faith Wiseman had 14 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Ayla Lollar scored 10 points, Bre Gault seven and Lexi Sichting six in the victory.
Grizzly Cubs dominate Hawks
Franklin was a 74-49 winner at Decatur Central in Mid-State Conference action. Aubrey Runyon scored 18 points and Scarlett Kimbrell added 15 for the Grizzly Cubs (9-2, 2-0).
Warriors fall against Quakers
Despite 20 points from Addison Emberton, Whiteland dropped a 61-50 decision at Plainfield. Gwen Higdon contributed 15 points for the Warriors (3-6, 0-2 Mid-State), while Sophia Dyer finished with nine.
