Trojans rout Warriors, Bull Frogs

Host Center Grove got the best of its double dual meet with Whiteland and Columbus North on Tuesday, its boys and girls both topping both opponents by comfortable margins. The Trojan girls swept all 12 events, finishing 1-2 in all three relays and getting individual wins from Brooke Trammell (500 freestyle, 100 backstroke), Kayla Fischer (200 free), Addyson Matern (200 IM), Lara Phipps (50 free), Megan McIntyre (diving), Karlie Dodd (100 butterfly), Lexi Stuart (100 free) and Rayah Rugenstein (100 breaststroke). The boys also won all their relays and got first-place efforts from Mason Bridges (200 IM), Henry Lyness (50 free), Thomas Alte (diving), Isaac Lewis (100 free), Anthony Cuadros (500 free) and Moses Weaver (100 back).

Grizzly Cubs sweep Quakers

Franklin took both halves of its dual at Plainfield, with the boys earning a 130-55 victory and the girls pulling out a 101-84 win. The boys won all three relays and got first-place showings from Alijah Hall (200 IM, 100 backstroke), Gabe Holtz (50 and 100 freestyle), Isaac Layton (200 free), Austin Clark (diving), Alex Walden (100 butterfly), Franco Chirinos (500 free) and Lucas Ackermann (100 breaststroke). The girls won the medley and 400 free relays and got individual firsts from Lili Ratzlaff (IM, 100 free), Reagan Graves (200 free), Camy Quiggins (diving), Chloe Vitatoe (100 fly), Caleigh Schotting (500 free) and Jovie Mowrey (100 back).

Woodmen boys split double dual

Competing against Perry Meridian and Brebeuf Jesuit, Greenwood’s boys defeated the Braves 60-31 but took a narrow 51-50 loss to the Falcons; the Woodmen girls lost both matchups. The boys took the medley and 400 freestyle relays and added individual wins from Emmanuel Jackson (200 freestyle) and Arya Gokhale (100 butterfly). On the girls side, the Woodmen got victories from Ryann Marker (200 IM), Hailey Peckinpaugh (100 free), Maria Mears (100 backstroke), Eleanor Guipe (100 breaststroke) and the 400 free relay.

Center Grove picks up road win

Class 4A No. 6 Center Grove used a balanced scoring effort and a big third quarter to secure a 54-42 win at Plainfield on Tuesday. Aubrie Booker had 12 points for the Trojans (9-1), Audrey Annee and Rachel Wirts each scored 11 and Lilly Bischoff contributed 10.
