Arleen Sue (Weaver) Vinson, 72, was called home to be with the Lord on December 6th, 2023, peacefully, in her home in Trafalgar, IN. Arleen was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on January 9th, 1951. She was the most loving, kind, and thoughtful woman with her beautiful blue eyes and a contagious smile that could brighten anyone’s day.

Arleen attended Howe High School in Indianapolis, IN and truly cherished the memories made during her educational journey.

Arleen was always a devoted wife and mother who cherished her Christian faith her entire life. Her compassion, consideration, and gentle nature touched the lives of all of those around her. She found comfort in her Christian music and quality time with her family, which always brought her great joy. Arleen had a passion for sewing and she thoroughly enjoyed watching reruns of the TV show, “Chicago Fire.”

She is survived by her three loving daughters, Cheryl Nuckles, Lori Potter, and Angela Ross, along with their respective husbands, Thomas Nuckles, Brian Potter, and Christopher Ross. Arleen was absolutely adored by her eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Gladys Yeakley, and brothers Gary Hill and Jeff Hill.

Arleen was preceded in death by her mother, Lavita Fay Hill, her father, Robert Dale Weaver, her ex-husbands, Patrick D. Virt and Norman E. Vinson, and her grandson, Jacob Carter.

In accordance with Arleen’s wishes, there will be no funeral services held. Instead, a private Celebration of Life will be planned for the Spring of 2024.

Arleen Sue Vinson will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, faith and kindness will forever remain in all our hearts.
