Grizzly Cubs third at North Central

Franklin’s boys and girls finished third behind Fishers and Fort Wayne Carroll during Wednesday’s Panther Invitational at North Central. Lili Ratzlaff was a double winner (200 IM, 100 freestyle) for the Grizzly Cub girls, while Aleksandr Ries took first in the 100 breaststroke for the boys.

Franklin rolls past Shelbyville

Micah Davis scored 26 points to lead Franklin to a 61-40 triumph at Shelbyville on Wednesday night. Wyatt Nickleson added 15 points for the Grizzly Cubs (9-1).

Host Lancers split tourney games

Edinburgh won its opening-round game against Victory College Prep, 60-28, in its own Johnson Memorial Health Classic on Wednesday, before dropping a 53-33 semifinal against Jac-Cen-Del. Connor Ramey had 20 points in the first-round win for the host Lancers (6-4), who will face Austin in the third-place game this evening.

Cougars drop two at Hauser

Greenwood Christian suffered a pair of setbacks Wednesday in the Arrow Container Holiday Classic at Hauser, a 45-29 loss to the host Jets in the first round and a 59-38 defeat against Eminence. The Cougars (5-9) play in a consolation game today at 6 p.m.
