FRANKLIN
Patricia Jean Roadruck, 82 of Franklin, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023.
She was born on October 17, 1941 in Shelbyville, Indiana to George R. McCain and Emogene (Price) McCain. Pat married Garry Allen Roadruck on November 25, 1967. He lovingly survives. She is also survived by their daughter, Lissa A. Roadruck; granddaughter, Lilly Powell; sister, Georgann McCain Rising and husband Paul; five nieces and several cousins. She was preceded in passing by her parents.
Pat was a 1959 graduate of Shelbyville High School; attended Butler University and was a 1963 graduate of John Herron Art Institute.
She was an Art Teacher, teaching at Tipton Community Schools, Shelbyville Community Schools and retired from Greenwood Community Schools.
She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and the Indiana State Teacher’s Association. Pat enjoyed floral arranging, jewelry making, playing cards, crafting and crossword puzzles. She truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
A Celebration of Pat’s life will be held at a later date. Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin is assisting the family with arrangements.
