January is Human Trafficking Awareness month and the Johnson County Human Trafficking Task Force will be holding human trafficking awareness training event.
The training event will have four sessions and will be held on Jan. 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 65 Airport Parkway, Ste. 110, Greenwood.
They will also be hosting informative educational presentations to help educate and empower the community on this issue.
Presentations will be held on:
- Jan. 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 436 Loews Blvd., Greenwood
- Jan. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. at 803 W. Indian Creek Drive, Trafalgar
- Jan. 30 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 2717 S. Morgantown Road, Greenwood
People can sign up for one or all sessions. Presentations are free and all are welcome.
