Leadership Johnson County hosting workshops, women’s conference

This year is getting off to a busy start at Leadership Johnson County, they are having three upcoming workshops.

Jan. 11, 9 a.m. to noon – Embrace Your Inner Child: Using Experiential Activities to Create a Team Culture

Join facilitator Bea Northcott to learn how to plan and facilitate intentional (and fun) experiential activities to improve communication, build trust and enhance problem-solving. Held at the Johnson County Armory, 325 Minuteman Way, Franklin. Cost is $59 per person for Leadership Johnson County Signature Program graduates, Franklin College alumni, Franklin and Indy Chamber of Commerce members and Aspire members. General public is $69 per person.

Jan. 23, 9 a.m. to noon – Buddy To Boss: Successful Transition As A New Leader

Join facilitator Brad Coy for this workshop, it will show how to adopt the mindset of a leader and gain new skills in communication, coaching, goal setting and giving effective feedback. Held at the Johnson County Armory and the cost is $59 per person for Leadership Johnson County Signature Program graduates, Franklin College alumni, Franklin and Indy Chamber of Commerce members and Aspire members. General public is $69 per person.

Feb. 9, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Women In Leadership full-day workshop

This year’s theme is Moving from Conflict to Collaboration. Held at Compass Park Event Center, 690 State St., Franklin. Cost is $115 per person for Leadership Johnson County Signature Program graduates, Franklin College alumni, Franklin and Indy Chamber of Commerce members and Aspire members. General public is $135 per person.
