Thefts

1000 block of Lenorite Lane: Reported at 3:39 a.m. Friday that a vehicle theft had occurred.

1251 U.S. 31 N., JC Penney: Reported at 6:30 p.m. Thursday that two juveniles were shoplifting from the store. The juveniles were arrested and transported to the juvenile detention center.

1265 U.S. 31 S., Hubler Acura: Reported at 4:15 p.m. Thursday the theft of a vehicle from the car lot had occurred.

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 1:58 p.m. Thursday that a shoplifting had occurred.

Johnson County

Hit and Run

W. County Line Road and N. Morgantown Road, Greenwood: A man reported at 8:10 p.m. Thursday that a dark colored SUV crossed the center line, struck vehicle side mirrors and continued driving without stopping.

Narcotics

W. Smith Valley Road and S. Peterman Road, Greenwood: A deputy reported at 2:29 p.m. Thursday that during a traffic stop for speeding he detected the strong odor of burned marijuana coming from the vehicle. After a search of the vehicle a pipe used for smoking marijuana and other narcotics were located. The driver was issued a summons for possession of marijuana, operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license and was warned for the speeding violation. The passenger was issued a summons for possession of paraphernalia.

6000 block of S. Nineveh Road, Trafalgar: A deputy reported at 2:19 p.m. Thursday that while searching a camper for a woman wanted on a out of county warrant, he detected the odor of marijuana and located paraphernalia belonging to a man staying in the camper, he was issued a summons for possession of paraphernalia.

Theft

1000 block of Chime Lane: A woman reported at 11:45 a.m. Thursday that five windows had been stolen from a garage of a home under construction.
