The arctic blast settled over central Indiana likely has many people dreaming of warm weekends casting lines into peaceful lakes. Lovers of the outdoors can start stocking up on their gear during this event hosted by Honey Creek Tackle. Fishing experts Josh Jones, Ish Monroe, Davy Hite and Mark Menendez will be featured speakers, while attendees can take part in a tackle swap meet to exchange old or unused gear with other local fishing enthusiasts. Plus, Honey Creek Tackle will be busting at the seams with new equipment.

Show off your knowledge while raising money for local students during this Center Grove Education Foundation fundraiser. Participants can take part in a multi-round trivia competition hosted by Hambone’s Trivia, where people can form a team with up to eight players. People can also be grouped with other players. Tickets are $50 per person and include dinner from Bonefish Grill. Beverages will be available for purchase from the Barn’s Saloon.
