The Johnson County Board of Commissioners is seeking interested individuals to serve on the following boards with terms beginning Feb. 12.
Amity Fire Protection District Board – Franklin Township, (1 board members, term would expire Dec. 31, 2026) Qualified applicant must have knowledge and experience in matters pertaining to fire protection and related activities in the district; and must reside within Amity Fire Protection District and Franklin Township.
Property Tax Assessment Board of Appeals, (1 board member, 1-year term) Qualified applicant must have voted as a Democrat in the last two primary elections or has not voted in the last two primary elections; be knowledgeable in the valuation of property; and cannot be an appraiser employed in Johnson County.
