NASHVILLE, INDIANA
Ronald Eugene Wood, Sr., 84 years old, passed away peacefully with his loved ones at his bedside at Brown County Health &Living Community on January 19, 2024.
Ronald was born in Whiteland, Indiana on March 3, 1939 to Dorothy (Asher) Wood and Oral E. Wood. He married Stella (James) Wood on January 29, 1966. He was the owner of Southside Painting for 33 years. He served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1968. Ronald loved to fish and was a Pro-Am Bass Fisherman in the 90’s. He was a member of Greenwood Masonic Lodge No. 514.
He is survived by his wife, Stella (James) Wood; son, Ronald Wood, Jr. (Kim); brother, James Wood (Emily); stepdaughters, Sandy Stokes (Mike), Patty Owens, Shelli Bolton (Bob), Beverly Mejia (Lou), and Roland Coryell (Doreen); 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy (Asher) Wood; father, Oral E. Wood; brothers, Robert E. Wood, Thomas H. Wood, and Jack D. Wood; son-in-law, Bill Owens.

Masonic funeral rites will be performed on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 1:00pm at Jessen Funeral Home &Simple Cremation ~ Whiteland Chapel with visitation from 11:00am until the funeral hour. Ronald will be laid to rest with military honors at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Indiana.
