Franklin

Personal-injury accident

2:08 p.m. Tuesday – W. Jefferson St. and N. Morton St. Juvenile, 16, Greenwood, reported having injury to their neck. Bethany Skaggs, 37, Franklin. Skaggs reported having injury to her neck.

Property-damage accident

9:16 p.m. Tuesday – E. King St. and I-65 exit 90 ramp

Thefts

1800 block of Lakeside Drive: A woman reported at 12:07 p.m. Tuesday that her son had stolen her vehicle. Officers later found the vehicle using the Flock system and the man was arrested for unauthorized control of a vehicle, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

2801 N. Morton St., police department: A man reported at 2:40 p.m. Tuesday the theft of his license plate had occurred.

2125 N. Morton St., Walmart: A loss prevention employee reported at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday that a woman had not scanned four items that she had in her cart and then tried to leave the store. The woman was issued a summons for theft and issued a trespass warning.

Hit and Run

150 Marlin Drive, Meijer: Reported at 2:19 p.m. Tuesday that a hit and run had occurred.

1615 E. Main St., Road Ranger: Reported at 11:31 a.m. Tuesday that a hit and run had occurred.

704 S. State Road 135, UPS Store: Reported at 10:36 a.m. Tuesday that a hit and run had occurred.

1615 E. Main St., Road Ranger: Reported at 8:25 a.m. Tuesday that a hit and run had occurred.

10:50 a.m. Tuesday – Main St. and Marlin Drive

Thefts

800 block of Curlew Lane: Reported at 5:49 a.m. Wednesday that a theft from a vehicle had occurred overnight.

1251 U.S. 31 N., Champs Sports: Reported at 7:32 p.m. Tuesday that shoplifting had occurred.

Johnson County

Narcotics

Pebble Way and W. Scott Drive, Greenwood: A officer reported at 1:10 a.m. Wednesday that due to a driver’s suspicious behavior he approached the vehicle, he encountered a man and a juvenile in the vehicle. Due to the driver not having a active drivers license, it was decided the vehicle was going to be towed. After a search of the vehicle several narcotics were located, the driver was arrested for possession of marijuana and driving while suspended, the juvenile was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center on the charge of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

30 block of S. State Road 135, Bargersville: A officer reported at 12:38 p.m. Tuesday that during a traffic stop for obstructing the normal flow of traffic, the driver told him he was having tire issues and when another deputy arrived his K9 partner alerted on the vehicle for possible drugs inside. During the search a small plastic bag with crystal like substance was located in the vehicle. The driver was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and transported to the Johnson County jail.

Marvin D. McCall, 61, Franklin; arrested on charges of unauthorized control of a vehicle, possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia; held on $6,400 bond.

Garrett Christian Tyler Warner, 30, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of possession of methamphetamine; held on $2,400 bond.

Anibal G. Pereira Vasquez, 26, Indianapolis; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; held without bond.

Malik A. Winbush, 28, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of violation of community corrections; held without bond.

Elijah M. Ross, 22, Greenwood; arrested on charges of sex crime-child solicitation and obscenity/pornography-providing obscene material to minors; released on $4,500 bond.

Christopher Lynn Rowland, 50, New Whiteland; arrested on a charge of contempt; held on $383 bond.

David A. Maple, 46, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of contempt; released on $1,000 bond.

Mukangwa Kalonda, 28, Indianapolis; arrested on charges of interfering with public safety, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, reckless driving and driving while suspended with prior suspension; held on $4,400 bond.

Dakota Joseph Walter, 29, Indianapolis; arrested on charges of driving while suspended with prior suspension and possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia; released on $500 bond.
