Hearts to attendees of Carrie Clayburn dinner

Hearts

The proverb “It takes a village” never rang as true for us as it did Jan. 26. With school and the ballgame being canceled because of the weather, the fate of Carrie Clayburn’s benefit dinner hung in the balance. Had it not been for our amazing village of Indian Creek High School and Jared Sneed, along with all of our other friends, family, and sponsors, the dinner would not have happened, much less become one of our most successful dinners to date.

A special thank you to our amazing community village of ICHS, Jared Sneed, Joey Dunn and the Indian Creek FFA, area churches, Cathy Cook, Stacey Kuntz, Boy Scout Troop 218, Texas Roadhouse, Trafalgar McDonald’s, Trafalgar Homemakers, and all of our other sponsors, volunteers, family, and friends, along with everyone who attended the dinner and donated to the scholarship fund.

It helps our hearts to know that ICHS students will benefit from the scholarships that this dinner provides and that Carrie will be remembered.

God Bless,

John and Sheila Heidenreich
