William “Bill” Philip Lambing

FRANKLIN

William “Bill” Philip Lambing, 82, passed away on February 9, 2024. He was a resident of Franklin, Indiana.

Bill was born on March 12, 1941 in Twin Falls, Idaho to William Albert Lambing and Helen Elsie (Avey) Lambing. He married Rhonda M. (Powell) Lambing on May 27, 1995. She lovingly survives.

Other survivors include his son, Dennis Lambing; daughter, Michele Adkins (Dan); and grandchildren, Jared, Haley, Samantha (Zachary), Madeline, and Aaron. He was preceded in passing by his parents, William and Helen.

Bill graduated from Twin Falls High School. He served in the United States Air Force from 1959 until his honorable discharge in 1967.

He worked as a senior field service engineer at Collins and Raytheon Technologies from 1967 – 2002.

Bill was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Murat Shrine. He was an amateur radio enthusiast for over 60 years. He enjoyed gardening and listening to classical music. Bill was a life long lover of all cats.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton Street (U.S. 31) in Franklin. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rocklane Cemetery.
