JCCF adds new members to board of directors

The Johnson County Community Foundation (JCCF) has added two new members to its board.

Gilmer

New members joining the board are local banking executive Jeff Gilmer and local attorney Michelle Maslowski.

“Michelle and Jeff’s strong ties to Johnson County will benefit our Board greatly. I am very pleased for them to join us as a part of JCCF,” said Kim Kasting, president & CEO.

Jeff Gilmer is the Vice President of Retail Lending for the IU Credit Union, a position he has held since 2008. He has worked in banking and lending since 1995, and during that time has focused on delivering an outstanding borrower experience through the implementation of technology, process improvement and employee development.

Maslowski

Michelle Maslowski joined Van Valer Law Firm, LLP in May of 2023, and concentrates her practice in employment litigation in industries including transportation, general contracting, food processing, manufacturing, staffing, retail, medical and financial services. She provides advice on employment and personnel issues, such as employment agreements, severance and separation agreements, employee handbooks, and individual employment policies.

JCCF has elected the following officers for 2024:

• Past Chair, Steve Spencer, Entrepreneur

• Co-Chair, Evan Meade, Franciscan Health.
