Here’s what’s going on with I-69 the week of March 18

Work on the I-69 Finish Line Project continues on the southside this week.

Drivers should expect nightly single- and double-lane closures at various locations on Interstate 465 eastbound and westbound between Interstate 65 and Interstate 70 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting Monday through Friday. Nightly 20-minute stoppages are also expected at various locations on I-465 eastbound and westbound between I-65 and I-70 from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. Monday through Friday for bridge work and overhead sign structure installation, according to an Indiana Department of Transportation update.

Crews are also working to repair potholes and could cause intermittent lane closures or traffic stoppages on asphalt portions of I-465. Emergency repairs will be made during the day, while other repairs will be made at night with overnight lane closures from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m, according to INDOT.

As for Interstate 69, expect a single-lane closure and intermittent 20-minute stoppages on the northbound lanes beginning just north of Stotts Creek and continuing for two miles while construction crews continue embankment work in this area. This alignment is expected through May 2024.

All road work is weather-dependent and could be delayed due to inclement weather.
