Lancers hammer Mohawks

Kyah Streeval finished a single short of the cycle, driving in five runs and scoring three as Edinburgh rolled to a 12-2 win at Waldron on Thursday. Kenna Streeval went 3 for 4 with three RBIs for the Lancers (8-11, 6-4 Mid-Hoosier) and also pitched a perfect inning in relief of winning pitcher Eloise Cox.

Grizzly Cubs defeat Hawks

Aubrey Leugers had a home run and three RBIs to lead Franklin to a 4-2 triumph over Decatur Central. Annabelle Richter was the winning pitcher for the Grizzly Cubs (12-13, 6-8 Mid-State).

Trojans nip Marauders

Center Grove used sixth-inning RBIs from Riley Janda and Ava Krupa to squeak past Mt. Vernon, 2-1. Hannah Haberstroh had three hits for the Trojans (20-6), while Taylor Barrett threw two innings of perfect relief to save it for winner Riley Fuhr.

Woodmen fall to Quakers

Greenwood came up short against Plainfield, 4-1. Gracelyn Bowles plated Haylie Hendricks with the lone run for the Woodmen (13-11, 6-7 Mid-State).

Warriors beaten by Pioneers

A slow start doomed Whiteland in a 13-3 loss to Class 4A No. 7 Mooresville. Maddy Myers had two hits and an RBI for the Warriors (11-12, 6-8 Mid-State), while Josslynn Harbert and Makenna Reed also knocked in runs.

Greenwood edges Plainfield

Landen Smith had two RBIs to guide Greenwood to a 5-4 win over Plainfield on Thursday. Smith and Jagger Bray each had two hits for the Woodmen (12-11, 9-5 Mid-State) in support of winning pitcher Cade Kelly.

Edinburgh comes up short

Edinburgh lost at Waldron, 5-1. Milas Burkman drove in Austin Brockman to get the Lancers (10-12-1, 4-8 Mid-Hoosier) on the board.
