INDIANAPOLIS
Sharon Kay Burton, 69 of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
She was born on November 2, 1954 in Franklin, Indiana to Leonard Burton and Irene (Moran) Burton. Sharon is survived by brother, David Burton (Jennifer) and sister, Donna Bass (Chris); and niece and nephews, Matthew Burton, Damien Sekhon and Elizabeth Sekhon. She was preceded in passing by her parents; step-mother, Dorothy Burton and brother, Johnny Burton.
She was a graduate of Franklin Community High School.
Sharon worked for HOK in marketing for many years.
She was an avid reader.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 1st, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service commencing at 6:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin.
