GREENWOOD
Jerry Donald Noel was born September 2, 1941 in Cincinnati, OH to Gladys Kennedy Noel Peck and Estell Noel. Jerry relocated shortly after to the family farm in Elizabethtown, KY, where he was raised.
After his Army service, Jerry married Rosemary Cox, who preceded him in death in December 2023. Married 58 years, Jerry was a devoted family man, who never missed a game, performance, or shied away from myriad chauffeuring jobs across the years of family life. He served nearly 40 years as a minister, after graduating from Morris Harvey College in Charleston, WV. An adventurous soul who loved to travel, Jerry loved the beach, good food, and his vast assortment of well used paper maps. And no matter the inconvenience, there was always room for a stray until a forever home was found.
The Noel Family is deeply grateful to Aspen Trace and its staff for their exceptional care and kindness shown during his time there.
Steadfast in their love and devotion, Jerry is survived by his daughter, Becky Noel, and grandchildren, Jasmine and Brodie Noel. His son resides in South Carolina. Owing to the many souls Jerry touched, they’re certain he will be missed by others, near and far.
A visitation was Friday, July 19th from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service &Crematory, Greenwood Chapel 481 W. Main Street Greenwood, IN 46142.
