Interstate 465 is again fully open on Indianapolis’ southeast side.
I-465 between Interstates 65 and 70 reopened Sunday after being closed for a few weeks for road maintenance. This work included concrete repavement and bridge deck patching, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.
The work was the second of six parts for I-465 restoration work between I-65 and U.S. 31 on the east side of Indianapolis. All of the work is expected to be complete in spring 2025, INDOT officials say.
