Stormy Daniels to promote comic book series at Greenwood event

Adult film actor Stormy Daniels will make an appearance in Greenwood this weekend to promote her comic book series.

Daniels, who who was at the center of a hush-money case involving former President Donald Trump, will appear for an exclusive event promoting the “Stormy Daniels: Space Force” series from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at 50 S. Park Blvd., Greenwood. The event is hosted by TidalWave Productions and Comics Elite, according to a news release.

“Stormy Daniels: Space Force,” created by Stormy Daniels and Darren G. Davis, is a comic book series written by Michael Frizell with interior art by Pablo Martinena. An official description of the series reads: “Captain Stormy Daniels commands the U.R.E. Helix, a starship serving the United Republic of Earth under the leadership of the ‘very stable genius’ OrDon. Daniels and her crew, capitalists at heart, are available for hire.” It is also described as “a racy comedy and action-adventure series” that blends elements of “Barbarella” and “Star Trek,” the news release says.

“What girl doesn’t want to be a sexy comic book character?! I never thought in a million years this dream would come true much less that it would turn out so amazingly! I am so excited to share ‘Space Force’ with everyone,” Daniels said in the news release.

At the Greenwood event, people will have the opportunity to purchase an exclusive six-cover set of “Space Force,” including 500 “Trade Dress” variants and 400 “Art Only” variants. Special Foil and Metal Cover variants are available in very limited quantities, according to the news release.

The event will also feature appearances by renowned comic artists Jamie Tyndall — appearing Friday only, Gregbo Watson, Ale Garza and Matthew Waite. Attendees can meet these artists, purchase exclusive art and prints and receive signatures on their special edition comics, according to the news release.

Additionally, publisher Darren Davis, and writer Michael Frizell will be present, offering fans a chance to engage with the creative team behind “Space Force,” the news release says.
