A local fundraiser invites animal lovers to buy used books to support local cats.
Johnson County Community Cats is holding their Second Annual Pre-Loved Book Sale later this month. This year’s sale will be held at JCCC’s Bargersville office, 4247 State Road 135, on Aug. 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Aug. 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
All proceeds of the sale will support JCCC’s efforts to care for community cats in the county, including providing a trap, neuter release program and offering a 24/7 access microchip reader.
Friday is the last day to donate books to be sold during the event. Books can be dropped off at JCCC’s office, Wild Geese Bookshop and Toodleydoo Toys in Franklin, Studio 317 in Greenwood and Herkert Family Eyecare in Indianapolis.
